Mitten and Food Collection
Hats, Mittens/Gloves and Food Being Collected
Help keep fingers warm this Christmas as the Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library once again sponsors “A Mitten Tree”. Along with the mittens the library will also be collecting non-perishable foods for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.
Last year, scarves and toboggans also adorned the tree. The purpose is to help others stay warm, which are greatly appreciated. With the economy such as it is, this year it is especially important to help others in need. The library staff invites everyone to stop by and donate a pair of gloves, mittens, scarves, toboggans or non-expired food to help others through the cold winter months.
