Every Hero Has A Story
Calling all readers! It’s time for you to be a hero. Transform your summer with the amazing power of books at the Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library as we present the Summer Reading Program, “Every Hero Has a Story”.
The 2015 Summer Reading Program is open to kids of all ages with programs, presentations, prize drawings, storytimes, toddlertimes, little tykes, a reading club and much more. Families are invited to join the Read to Me portion of the program. Registration for “Every Hero Has a Story” begins on June 1st. For more information, call the library at 740- 425-1651.

Adult Summer Reading Program
ADULT SUMMER READING PROGRAM
“Escape the Ordinary” is the adult summer reading theme at the Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library. The program will run from June 1st thru July 17th. Various activities are being planned to go along with the Tic Tac Toe reading cards such as a chocolate tasting, a visit from author Trish Kirk a Barnesville native who has published 3 books, pick your superpowers vegetables and dip tasting and other activities. Many prizes will be given away.

Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library has begun partnering with Freegal (free + legal), a relatively new service that allows its library cardholders to download up to 3 downloads mp3s per week - 156 songs per year. All of the tunes come from Sony Music Entertainment's catalog, which includes hundreds of thousands of songs across 100 genres of music. Click on the logo below.
