Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library is continuing the Cookbook Club for adults. Come join us each month as we pick a theme and prepare dishes to share. The first session will be on October 4th at 6:30 p.m. with Tiffany Ellwood of the Wood Fired Pizza Company giving a pizza demonstration. She will give a talk on different pizzas and everyone will be able to make their own personal pizza. There will be a onetime fee of $10.00 for this program which includes a salad, pizza and dessert. The Library will have a display with each month’s theme and cookbooks available to check out.
The program will take place at the Barnesville Library Annex, 611 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville. Registration is limited and can be made at the circulation desk with payment. Registration deadline is September 29th.
Come and enjoy some good food, discussion and fun!

Fall Storytime, Toddlertime & Little Tykes
Classes again this fall. There will be two Storytime sessions offered either Monday afternoons from 1:00 – 1:45p.m. or Monday evenings from 6:30 – 7:15p.m. The classes will begin September 12th and continue through November 14th. Storytime is for children ages 3-5. The forty-five minute program includes stories, finger-plays, songs, rhymes and crafts. Each week a theme is presented that becomes the center for all the activities.
Toddlertime is designed for the two year old child and an adult. Parents, caregivers and grandparents have all been a part of this successful program. The thirty minute program centers around the two year old child and the adult participating in songs, finger-plays, creative movement, stories and crafts. There will be two sessions offered either Thursday mornings at 10:30a.m. or Thursday evenings at 6:00p.m. Toddlertime will begin September 15th and continue through November 17th.
Little Tykes is a program similar to our Toddlertime program, but is designed for babies, 6 months to age 2, along with a parent, grandparent or caregiver. This short interactive program introduces board books to children plus we sing songs, participate in finger plays and creative movement. There will be two sessions offered either Thursdays at 5:00p.m. beginning on September 15th or Fridays at 10:30a.m. beginning September 16th and running through November 17th and 18th.
